About

Professional Auxiliary Training has been serving the dental community by providing auxiliary training for medical billing in Haymarket, Virginia, since 2017. Dr. Tontra Lowe directs our school and leads our classes. Her military background gives her a history in teaching, which allows her to break down items for systematic consumption and clear understanding. Dr. Lowe uses analogies and real-world examples so that our students understand the content of our seminars and will not forget the lessons learned in our classes.

Our small class sizes allow us to really focus on our students and their learning capabilities. We include aspects of the medical billing process from a business perspective, and this allows our students to gain more knowledge and set themselves apart in their own dental practices.

Our seminars focus on accomplishing two goals:

  1. We talk about marketing to help build the students’ practices and be successful with billing.
  2. We also allow our students to complete claims on site and actually deal with treatments from their individual office so that they understand protocols and successfully complete an immediate ROI.

By completing these goals, we instill confidence in our students, which allows them to provide more effective care for their patients.

Professional Auxiliary Training Medical Billing For Dentists Dr Tontra Lowe

Tontra Lowe, DDS

Dr. Tontra Lowe has spent her career placing an emphasis on how the mouth works with and affects the entire body. When it comes to serving her community, a passion instilled in her while at Howard University College of Dentistry and East Carolina Brody School of Medicine, Dr. Lowe goes beyond the tried and typical.

As a published author, public speaker, and educator, Dr. Lowe has been able to share with thousands the benefits of medical billing in the dental office. As an Army Veteran, she understands the importance of proper training and getting it done right the first time.

Throughout her career, she has spent countless hours working with health insurance companies to help access medical benefits for treatments where there is an oral-systemic connection. Now, she wants to share the knowledge and experience she has to help others serve their patients better and grow their practice. She is a proud member of the American Medical Billing Association.
